It was a blessing to spend time up close with wildlife this winter in Alaska (see post below); however, it's time to now focus on the tropics to work on a sea turtle project. The turtles should begin arriving soon: traveling hundreds of miles to lay their eggs in the same beach they were born. It is truly amazing how this works in nature without GPS and only the stars and Earth's magnetic field to guide them. Drones help us find them without disturbing their natural behavior.
